Princess Martha’s Homecoming
Friday, October 14th, 2005 by RachelWe just picked up our new addition to the family this evening….”Princess Martha”! “Princess” was Laura’s contribution to her name and Martha was her given name by her foster mom. Martha was born at a humane society after her mother, a golden retriever, was found tied outside the facility. Martha’s father is unknown but we think he was either a yellow lab or a golden himself.
Here is a picture of her after we brought her home. We first visited the yard and her new fenced potty area and then went in to the house. I told Laura that we needed to show Martha around the house because she had never been there. She instantly was excited! When we stepped into the house she said, “See! This is a nice house!”
