Wednesday, March 1st, 2000 by JeffYesterday we got another foster dog from Second Chance, an animal rescue organization. He is a male cocker spaniel who has been abused. He’s really sweet, but really timid and easily frightened. We’re not sure how long he’ll be with us, but it will be interesting to see if his personality changes at all in that time.
Well, so much for winter! We had been planning to go cross-country skiing this past weekend, but the 50-degree temperatures last week have left us here in the Twin Cities with basically no snow whatsoever. This has been, as far as I can remember, one of the shortest and mildest winters we’ve had here in years. Not a bad deal!
