Tonight we went to our friend Ginny Davis’ 30th birthday party. Rachel put her newly-acquired cake decorating skills to work by making not one, but two birthday cakes. One was a white cake with blackberry cream filling and the other one was lemon cake with chocolate fudge filling. Mmmmm…good thing we left the leftovers at Shane & Ginny’s house!
Tonight we went to a ski waxing class at REI in Roseville. Now we have all the knowledge we need, and most all of the tools, to do our own ski waxing to keep us gliding merrily along!
We went cross-country skiing again yesterday. It was Rachel’s first time with her new skis that she got this past weekend. Rachel is very proud of the fact that she’s got Jeff into skiing, and Jeff is glad that she did!
We had a great Gathering last night at church. (This is our twice-monthly contemporary worship service.) It was a truly great time of worship!
